We're hiring · 5 open roles

Build multiflow with us.

We're building the payment orchestration layer for multi-brand operators — the category the industry keeps calling "too niche to bother with" while $40B of merchant volume routes through it every year. If you've ever run a multi-brand business, shipped payments code for one, or watched a processor freeze destroy a quarter — you're already most of the way to fitting here.

Every role on this page is real, funded, and open today. Salary bands are published — they're the same numbers in the offer letter. Apply by sending a paragraph to the role email below; no cover letters, no generic forms.

Engineering

Senior Payments Engineer

Remote (US) Full-time $180k – $260k + equity

Own the routing layer that moves $40M+ a year across Stripe, Square, and Authorize.net. Ship the 3DS flows, webhook receivers, and reconciliation reducers operators depend on for payouts every Friday.

You'll own the orchestration core — the code path every transaction crosses on its way from a brand's checkout to the acquirer and back. We take reliability seriously: a bad deploy means operators don't get paid.

You've shipped production PSP integrations before (Stripe, Adyen, Braintree, or similar), understand idempotency keys + retry semantics cold, and can reason about settlement timing without squinting.

Bonus: experience with high-risk card-not-present verticals, MATCH-list evasion patterns, or rolling-reserve modeling.

Risk

Head of Underwriting

Remote (US) Full-time $200k – $280k + equity

Build and run the underwriting function. Every applicant gets a real answer in 48 hours — clean yes, clean no, or "not yet, here's what changes it." That bar is yours to hold.

You've underwritten multi-brand operators at a top-tier acquirer, ISO, or payfac for 5+ years. You can read a chargeback ratio in context, know the MCC list cold, and have said no to volume that would've blown up the portfolio six months later.

You'll hire two underwriters under you in year one, build the decision playbook we'll eventually open-source, and sit in on the tough calls where the answer isn't obvious. Reports to the CEO.

Success

Operator Success Engineer

Remote (US) Full-time $120k – $170k + equity

The first human an operator talks to after signing. You own their first 90 days: descriptor registration, Apple Pay domain verification, webhook wiring, first-month reconciliation review.

You've been an operator yourself — run 2+ brands, felt the reconciliation pain, lived through a Stripe freeze, or shipped payments code at an ecom brand. You know what good support feels like because you've needed it at 11pm on a Sunday.

This is not tier-1 CS. You'll be in Slack Connect rooms, on Zooms debugging webhook payloads, reviewing chargeback response templates with operators, and escalating edge cases directly to engineering. No tiered tickets. No handoffs.

Engineering

Principal Frontend Engineer

Remote (US) Full-time $180k – $250k + equity

Own the operator portal — the dashboard operators actually live in. Transaction tables that stay fast at 100k rows, live reconciliation views, and the embed widgets that ship on operator checkouts.

You care about performance. You've shipped interactive dashboards at scale (Linear, Vercel, Retool, or similar), understand the difference between perceived and measured latency, and can make a 50k-row virtualized table feel instant on a 4G iPhone.

You'll set the frontend architecture for the next 3 years: component library, state management, realtime subscriptions, mobile web. One of the first 5 hires in this seat — the scope compounds fast.

Go-to-market

Enterprise Account Executive

Remote (US) Full-time $150k base + uncapped commission (OTE $300k+)

Own the Network tier: 40+ brand holding companies, multi-state franchise networks, marketplace operators. Six-figure deals, long cycles, real champions inside finance orgs.

You've closed $1M+ ACV payments deals before — at an acquirer, a modern payfac (Stripe, Finix, Rainforest), or a vertical-saas platform that bundles payments. You can read an NDA, hold your own in a 12-person call with finance + legal + ops, and walk a CFO through a reconciliation savings model without slides.

Commission is uncapped and paid monthly on booked ARR. Top performers hit $300-500k OTE in year two. Reports to the CEO.

How we work

These aren't posters on a wall. They're the filters every hiring, shipping, and underwriting decision gets tested against. If any of them sound off to you, this probably isn't the right fit — and that's better for both of us to figure out now.

01 · Operator-first

Every decision gets tested against "does this make an operator's life easier."

We don't ship a feature because a competitor has it. We ship it because an operator ran into the gap and told us in Slack last Tuesday. If it doesn't survive that filter, it doesn't ship.

02 · Honest

We tell operators exactly why underwriting came back the way it did.

No "we'll get back to you" when the answer is no. No marketing-team euphemisms. If something breaks in production, the post-mortem is public the same week — with names attached and the actual root cause.

03 · Shipping over planning

The answer is usually "ship the v1 this week, iterate from user feedback."

We don't build six-month roadmaps. Operators tell us what hurts, we ship the smallest version of a fix, and we watch what happens. Roadmap documents that span more than a quarter get deleted.

04 · Team of operators

Everyone here has either run a multi-brand operation or shipped payments code for one.

No career-payments people who've never felt a freeze. No career-engineers who've never watched a descriptor change break Apple Pay. Lived experience of the problem is the baseline requirement.

Benefits

We try to keep it simple: real health coverage, real 401(k) match, real equity, real PTO. No ping-pong tables (we have no office). No "unlimited PTO with a one-day-a-year culture." No equity packages that vest over a decade.

Health, dental, vision

Fully covered premiums for you, 80% for dependents. PPO + HSA options. Starts day 1, no waiting period.

401(k) with 4% match

Traditional + Roth. Fully vested day one. No cliff. Match gets deposited the pay period you contribute.

Meaningful equity

Early ISO grants with 10-year exercise window post-departure. We publish the dilution table internally.

Unlimited PTO (with a floor)

We enforce a 15-day minimum — above that, take what you need. The CEO takes four weeks a year and models it.

Remote-first, always

No office. No "hybrid." We ship from 14 states and 2 countries. Home-office stipend $2k year one, $600/yr after.

Two team offsites per year

Full team gathers twice annually (spring + fall). Flights, lodging, food covered. Last offsite: New Orleans, four days.

Before you apply

The six questions we get most often about hiring here. If your question isn't on this list, email careers@multi-flow.pro — the hiring manager will reply directly.

Why are salary bands published?

Because every operator we work with would see right through us if we ran a hiring process that's less transparent than our pricing page. The bands are real. You can negotiate inside them based on seniority and location, but nobody walks in at $180k and finds out the job was budgeted at $250k.

Are you open to senior contractors or fractional talent?

Not right now. Every seat on this page is full-time W-2 because the work compounds — 90 days in, someone in a fractional seat has to hand back context they just built. We're open to 3-month paid contract-to-hire if you want to test the fit first.

What's the interview loop look like?

Four steps, no surprises. (1) 30-min intro call with the hiring manager. (2) 60-min problem-solving session — real problems from our backlog, not leetcode. (3) 90-min team loop with 2-3 future peers. (4) Reference calls + offer. Total calendar time: 2-3 weeks from first email to offer.

Do I need experience in payments specifically?

For Engineering roles: no, but you need to have worked somewhere reliability + data integrity actually mattered (banking, infra, ops tooling). For Risk + AE roles: yes. We can teach you multiflow — we can't teach you what a chargeback ratio should feel like after 5 years of reading them.

What are the work hours?

Your call. We don't track hours. Core overlap is 11am-2pm ET for Slack + meetings — outside that, when you work is yours. Most of the team puts in 40-45 honest hours a week. The ones putting in 60 are usually in the first 90 days and learning the stack, not because we asked.

I don't see my dream role. Can I still reach out?

Yes. If you've operated a multi-brand business, shipped production payments code, or closed enterprise payments deals — email careers@multi-flow.pro with a paragraph on what you'd build here. Top of pile for future openings. We hire ahead of need when the person is right.
